The Opportunity: As the Supervisor, Social Engagement, you will be instrumental in developing and executing bespoke brand social and influencer strategies for our most valued clients. You'll work at the intersection of engagement strategy, paid social, and social intelligence, collaborating with cross-functional teams and partner agencies to create engaging, results-driven programs. This is a pivotal client-facing role, guiding content, influencer, and community initiatives with strategic insight and an innovative mindset.
What You'll Do:
- Strategize & Innovate: Spearhead the development of unique, cutting-edge social and influencer strategies that push boundaries and drive measurable client success.
- Client Leadership: Serve as the primary client lead for all content, influencer, community engagement, and strategic guidance, building strong, trusted relationships.
- Elevate Capabilities: Collaborate closely with senior leadership (GSVP, VP) to continuously enhance and expand CMI Media Group's best-in-industry social capabilities.
- Internal Alignment: Act as a critical internal liaison, ensuring social strategies are seamlessly integrated and aligned with broader media efforts across all disciplines.
- Partnership Builder: Identify, cultivate, and pilot innovative social content partnerships and opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Regularly interface and collaborate with various internal teams to deliver best-in-class thinking and action for clients.
- Mentor & Inspire: Guide and mentor junior employees, fostering their growth and professional development within the agency.
- Team Champion: Generate enthusiasm and commitment for client objectives among internal team members, stimulating maximum productivity and job satisfaction.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in influencer or social strategy, with a significant portion managing high-tier clients within an agency setting or an in-house agency/SME team.
- Agency Background: Prior experience managing Fortune 500 Company, Large-scale Pharma, or Health clients; agency experience preferred.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing and mentoring teams, with a strong ability to foster growth, collaboration, and a positive team environment.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the Pharmaceutical/Health industry and its specific regulatory landscape within the social media space.
- Strategic Vision: A strong strategy and innovation background, consistently pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo, never accepting the baseline.
- Influencer Savvy: Prior influencer marketing experience, with a preference for HCP (Healthcare Professional) influencer expertise.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with leading social media and influencer management tools.
- Communication: Exceptional client communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
